A Night of Blues Rock
Capping off our May line up is The Past Unperfect.
The Past Unperfect is an experienced trio of London-based musicians who are passionate about performing original music. We create music that tells our stories — and we have plenty of those. We blend blues and alt-country, combining the sound of electric guitars with folk drums. Every story needs its own language and sound, and cannot be confined to a genre like a bird in a cage. We're inspired by the late Johnny Cash, the early Tom Waits, John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters.

Moron Butler & Vipertime
Delighted we could nail down S&TFD, having planned them to feature in our first gig over a year ago.
Self described as London's premier neo-jazz wrecking crew, they are one of the most vital bands on the DIY underground scene.
Their live shows, played in the round, can lurch from spiritual cool to noise rock abandonment, hypnotic polyrhythms and psyche riffs.
Vipertime and Moron Butler reach us as part of their mini tour.
The former, from Leeds, blend a ferocious, moshable mix of post-punk, spiritual jazz and motorik-afro beats. Two drummers? Let's go!
Moron Butler shouldn't need an introduction by now. Forceful heartfelt poetic words backed by catchy, repititious tunes. Like the Fall from parallel universe.
They'll probably be mixing things up a bit together.
Claimed Choice by CashPistache
To headline, none other that Claimed Choice, coming over from Lyon (France) and bringing their own take on Oi music. As far as French Oi is concerned, it is a clear defined genre, that Claimed Choice take on with a younger and more rock n roll approach, on the likes of bands such as Grade 2 or the Chisel - making themselves a core contributor of the new wave of skinhead music.
